Ice Queen

I've finally made Ice Queen!  I have lusted over this design ever since it was published long ago.  I fnally got some dark green mohair/silk from Sarah's Yarns to go with my dress coat and knit it.  I didn't have green beads that went well because the green is so dark but I did have gunmetal grey with silver lining.  Perfect.  You don't really see the actual bead, just the sparkle.  The effect reminds me of ice crystals on pine tree branches.   I just love nature and the colors of nature.

       

         

I have the next two days off with NO RESPONSIBILITIES.  Yay!  No place I have to be or job to be done.  I plan on relaxing here at home in my sweats.  I foresee knitting, spinning and maybe a little sewing.  I'm sure Gryphon and I can get a nice walk in; then a little nappy for us both.  Pure relaxation.

Thought for the day:  A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
