WooHoo! Just look at this beauty! This is my favorite picture of Gryphon that Sue took and has been immortalized in a hand painted portrait by Gene Parker. Now Sue went and had this Golding brass rim spindle made special for me with that most awesome picture of Gryphon!!!!! Can you just believe this? I know I can't. It has a cherry whorl and walnut shaft. I just may need the decorative wood spindle holder to display this. Don't you think?
I've been spinning with the sample fiber that came with it and love when it stops and I see Gryphon smiling at me. I plan to use this spindle to spin his fur I've been collecting for the last 12 years.
I feel extremely blessed and humbled to have such dear friends in my life.
