'Shawl' We Dance?

I don't know why but shawls make me feel like twirling dancing.  I love being wrapped in a nice warm shawl.  It's like a comforting hug.  I always seem to have a shawl or two on the needles and I've just cast on for 2 more.  I joined the Certain Shade of Green Shawl KAL because - guess why?  Yup, you guessed it.  Green.  Erica loves green, leaves and shawls like I do; so how could I resist this mystery KAL?  Clue 1 was released Friday and I got the jump on it right after work.  I chose a super soft baby merino cone yarn from ColourMart.  It just sings spring; I'm trying to get into the groove here for spring.  This helps.  I'm creating some leaves as I watch them emerge from the trees around me.  I like the poetry of that.  I also LOVE KALS.  Here is my start and I've pinned out a section so you can see the emerging leaves.
Last week I was getting itchy waiting for this KAL to start and was disappointed that the handspun I originally planned to use would be too colorful for this shawl.  So I set out to find a simple pattern that would highlight the color changes of this mother earth colorway of the Crown Mountain Farms polwarth I spun.  Enter Citron.  This shawl is one of those super nova populars mostly everybody has knit.  There are over 2000 projects on ravelry.  It's simple, straightforward and a shape I like.  You can make it as long or short as you like and use whatever weight yarn you like.  It's a great take-along project for class or waiting for appointments and it's perfect for handspun.
Isn't it pretty?  When I first spun this yarn I was disappointed the greens seemed more blue to me than the picture on the website.  It's really hard to photograph this colorway.  I don't have it quite right but it's as close as I can come.  Once I watched it being knit up though, it gives me a nice woodsy feeling and the greens don't seem as blue.  (they are really less aqua than this photo) It reminds me of the long healing nature walks Gryphon and I used to take in the woods before we both got bad hips.  I'm using my Signature Needles for this shawl and they are such a joy to knit with.  OK, I'm dancing again.  :-)  Care to join me?  C'mon, you know you want to.
