Vvrrooooom!

Did you ever hear a noise at night you could not place?  OK, imagine that I'm propped up in bed knitting.  (what else is new) I hear a faint motor sound, vvrrooommm, vvrrooomm........  What the heck?  What could it be?  I know this sound is not my neighbor because it is coming from the kitchen - inside the house!  I creep out to the kitchen where my sewing machine is and catch movement.  WHAT?  Grab the camera and snap the shot.
What is zipping past my sewing machine making a vvrrooom, vvrrooom sound?  Why it must be Ralph S. Mouse!  Teagan was reading this book and we found a little red motorcycle just like Ralph's and wouldn't you know he found it?  What a cute little guy.  I coaxed him out of hiding for a close up shot before he had to speed off to new adventures.
After I transferred the pictures from my camera to the computer, I discovered I had a few quilting retreat photos still in there so here they are.
Sandy finished her pieced block.  Very pretty blues and greys.

Camera shy Roberta finished her quilt top after much rearrangement of the blocks to get it just right.  A thing of beauty!  The colors are much prettier in real life.  I'm still learning about this camera and it's features.

I think I was the only one to catch her picture but she got tons of the rest of us.  She takes great pictures too!

Kris busy on her project.  She's a great teacher and designs awesome bags.

We all look forward to next year's retreat!  Thank you Tammy!
